RMVR Spring Thaw Grand Prix Pueblo Motorsports Park, April 25 - 26, 2026 Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing will celebrate the end of a not-so-frigid winter by kicking off springtime and our 2026 race season with a weekend of classic vintage sprint races at Pueblo’s historic road course. Yes, it’s that time of year when you pull the dusty tarp off the race car that’s been sitting patiently, awaiting your attention, and swap on those new tires Santa left under the Christmas tree a few months back. The PMP track is a perfect place to break those tires in right, while getting cobwebs and stale gas out of your (and the race car’s!) system. This event is free to spectators! We would appreciate your help spreading the word on social media and with your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors. WHAT: RMVR Spring Thaw Grand Prix WHERE: Pueblo Motorsports Park WHEN: Weekend of April 25- 26, 2026 PMP will host cars-only open lapping on Friday, April 24, including open wheel-only sessions, open to all RMVR members, and there is no restriction to the car used (i.e. it doesn't need to have a logbook) so long as the driver and car meet the track's requirements. It's a great opportunity to shake down & de-bug both car and driver prior to the weekend's racing and for other RMVR members to get out on the track. This option is highly recommended and strongly encouraged for those of us who haven’t been on track since last Fall. To register for Friday lapping, visit PMP’s web site HERE. Entry Fees: Your credit card will not be charged until after the race weekend, so sign up now for the Early Bird Special and to reserve your spot for the Saturday-Sunday competition weekend! Early Bird registration before April 11 - $425 Standard registration April 11 through April 20 - $475 Late expedited registration April 21 and after - $550 After standard online registration closes, you must call or e-mail the (new!) Please check our other events for possible HPDE options. Saturday 4/25 Happy Hour: Join us for an early evening Happy Hour! Open to all RMVR volunteers and competitors, we’ll have beer, soft drinks and water, plus some snack-ish light dinner goodies.
