Mark your calendar and come on out to High Plains Raceway on September 26 through 27 for some fantastic vintage racing, celebration, and to help kids fight cancer at our 16th Annual Race Against Kids' Cancer with a gigantic tribute to the MG Marque! RMVR is proud to host visiting members of the MG Vintage Racers (MGVR), the oldest, single marque vintage racing support group in North America. To all MG entrants: There will be a FREE RACE ENTRY to the furthest driven/trailered MG. (FYI, just enter the event as normal. RMVR doesn't put thru entry fees to credit cards until the race weekend. So the furthest driven will simply not be charged the entry fee. Hurray! A freebie!" This RMVR event is free to public spectators! We would appreciate your help spreading the word on social media and with your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors. If you are interested in volunteering at the event, please use the volunteer form to sign up. Event Features: "Ticket to Ride" at lunch on Saturday and Sunday where a donation gets you a passenger ride for three laps at speed in race cars and exotic cars. Saturday "Grid Bids for Kids" where grid position is determined by donations to move you or your competitors up or down the grid. Saturday dinner and social event avaialble for purchase either during registration or at the track at the Morgan Adams Foundation tent in the paddock. Saturday evening entertinament with a live band. Racing simulators on site Saturday and Sunday for people to join in the fun. Special MG-only races Saturday and Sunday featuring RMVR's MGs and our special guests (estimated thirty) from MG Vintage Racers (MGVR) with their unique blend of MG race cars including some unusual and rare specimens. Bonus Open Lapping and Test and Tune! HPR will host an RMVR-only open lapping day on Friday, September 25 open to all RMVR general and comp-license members, and there is no restriction to the car used (i.e. it doesn't need to have a logbook) so long as the driver and car meet the track's requirements. It's a great opportunity to shake down & de-bug both car and driver prior to the weekend's racing and for other RMVR members to get out on the track. This option is highly recommended and strongly encouraged for those of us who haven’t been on track recently. Donate to The Morgan Adams Foundation: There is a option on the registration form to donate to the MAF. For those not registering, you may donate directly through the MAF on their website. Saturday Dinner: There will be Saturday night dinner available for purchase when registering for the race. Spectators and racers may also purchase dinner tickets on Saturday at the Morgan Adams Foundation tent in the paddock.
