Pueblo Motorsports Park April 26 & 27, 2025 It has been a long off season, please come out with your friends the last weekend of April. Join us for the RMVR season opener at Pueblo Motorsports Park with optional RMVR only lapping day Friday April 25. To register for Friday lapping, follow the directions during online registration, or click HERE to go to Pueblo's Motorsportreg event. Also, any car with a current logbook from any recognized sanctioning body can race with us for the April Icebreaker event. There will be no Friday night drag races and the weather should be much cooler than we typically experience at Pueblo. We plan to have Chad's band Saturday night (I already told Chad none of them are allowed to be sick or travel and cancel out the band like what happened in October.) Saturday night dinner will again be the great southwestern buffet we had at the October race. In honor of it being the Icebreaker, the theme Saturday night is Cocktails.....sort of a mixed drink pot luck if you will. Everyone is encouraged to bring a pitcher, cooler, igloo, blenderful or whatever of your favorite cocktail or Mocktail to Saturday evening social hour to share. We will award fabulous prizes to the best COCKTAIL/MIXED DRINK entry and the best Mocktail. WHAT: Icebreaker Grand Prix WHERE: Pueblo Motorsports Park WHEN: Weekend of April 26 & 27, 2025 ENTRY FEES: Your credit card won’t be charged until after race weekend, so SIGN UP NOW for the full two-day regular competition weekend. • $400 - “Early Birds” registering before April 12th • $450 – registering between April 13th - April 22nd Online Registration closes April 22 at midnight. After this, call or e-mail RMVR Admin, Linae Schakel, (admin@rmvr.com; 303 319-3062) for late entry. Last minute phoned-in or at-event registrations are $525. CO-DRIVER for your car. You must already be registered for the two-day event for a CO-DRIVER to then register to drive your car. Your co-driver must log-in under their username and password and sign up using the Optional CO-DRIVER choice. (They should NOT sign up for the weekend entry.) Cost for them is $50. Current Membership required, as always. An added Run Group dedicated to "Fast Formula & Sports Racer" cars: This year RMVR is inviting select Faster Formula and Sports Racer cars from other race organizations to come race with us! This added Run Group will be anchored by all our existing RMVR faster vintage Open-Wheel/Sports Racer cars (e.g. Air-cooled FSV, FB, SRs, F5000 etc.). Invited cars include all Post ’94 Formula Fords * SRs (Kent and Fit powered), FC/F2000 (Pinto powered), S2000 (Pinto powered), water-cooled FSV, Formula Mazda, and SCCA FX/FC/FE/FE2/ESR . These invited Formula or Sports Racers must have a current logbook and annual inspection from a VMC organization, SCCA, or NASA. When entering these invited cars, please select "Post 1994 Invited Formula/SR" when prompted for the car's class. Tech: Don't forget to get your Annual Tech done BEFORE you get to the track.
