2025 RMVR Colorado Grand Prix 60th Anniversary Ft. Formula B High Plains Raceway August 2 & 3, 2025 Join RMVR in celebration of 60 years of Formula B racing in the United States. In 1965, Formula B was created by the SCCA, and the first professional race was held on May 16th, 1965 here in the state of Colorado at the Continental Divide Raceway in Castle Rock. This event, called the Colorado Grand Prix, would be the opening race to the professional Formula B championship for multiple years. Even though both the racetrack and series shut down many years ago, vintage Formula B racing has prospered in RMVR and across the nation. HPR will host open lapping on Thursday, July 31st and exclusive RMVR-ONLY test and tune on Friday, August 1. It's a great opportunity to shake down & de-bug both car and driver prior to the weekend's racing. To register for Thursday and/or Friday lapping at HPR. register directly with HPR (link here). ENTRY FEES: Your credit card isn’t charged until after the race weekend so SIGN UP NOW for the 2-Day, Saturday-Sunday Competition weekend! Early Bird registration before July 19th - $400 Standard registration July 19th to July 29th - $450 Online Registration closes July 29 at midnight. Registering VMC-affiliated club members will receive an honorary RMVR weekend membership, saving you the $150 annual membership dues. For cancelations after that, a $50 cancelation fee will be charged. No refund for "No shows” (and we thank you for your donation).
