2024 RMVR Marvelous May Races

RMVR will be kicking off the 2024 racing season with a bit of a change. Our first race event of the year, the Marvelous May Races, will incorporate RMVR's renowned Competition Drivers' School into the weekend schedule. No need for concern though - there'll be plenty of track time for all. The Vintage Spirit is our theme for this event. Please plan to join friends and fellow competitors on track and in the paddock for a weekend of fun and racing. This is also an opportunity to welcome our newest racers into the fold and demonstrate what the vintage spirit is all about. The RMVR Comp Drivers' School takes place Friday through Sunday. For the racers, there'll be racing on Saturday & Sunday with qualified students joining their race groups on Sunday. A Happy Hour plus a ticketed dinner are planned for Saturday after the track goes cold. WHAT: Marvelous May Races WHERE: High Plains Raceway WHEN: Weekend of May 18 - May 19, 2024 Bonus! HPR will host RMVR-ONLY open lapping on Friday, May 17. It's a great opportunity to shake down & de-bug both car and driver prior to the weekend's racing. This option is highly recommended & strongly encouraged for those of us who haven't turned a wheel on track since last fall. Four of the sixteen 30-minute sessions will be designated for our Comp students, but there'll still be plenty of track time for all. To register for Friday lapping at HPR, visit their website HERE.
